About us
Bay Area Antisemitism is a grassroots initiative bringing together neighbors, advocates, and organizations to stand against antisemitism and build a safer, more inclusive region.
Our mission
To combat antisemitism in the Bay Area through public education, incident reporting, advocacy, and community solidarity. We work to ensure Jewish individuals and institutions can live, worship, learn, and gather without fear.
Our community
We are a coalition of students, educators, faith leaders, advocates, and neighbors across San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and the wider Bay Area. Our strength comes from the diversity of the communities we serve.
Our commitment
We respond to incidents with care and confidentiality, center the voices of those affected, and build bridges across communities. We do not tolerate hate in any form.
Jewish advocacy in action
Our advocacy work includes speaking with elected officials, supporting inclusive policies, training institutions, and amplifying Jewish voices in public conversations. We believe lasting change comes from both grassroots action and institutional engagement.
Why this work matters
Antisemitism affects not only Jewish communities but the entire fabric of civil society. When hate goes unchallenged, it spreads. Our work is to interrupt that cycle through education, response, and solidarity.
We partner with local institutions, schools, synagogues, interfaith groups, and civic organizations to provide training, resources, and rapid response support. Together, we are building a Bay Area where everyone can thrive.
